Academic
tutoring
Tutoring focuses on a personalized learning accompaniment. Weekly sessions develop critical-analytical skills and reinforce tools that teach the student how to investigate, speak, and write with formality, complexity, and creativity.
By examining, discussing, and comparing texts and videos that integrate ideas and traditions (inside and outside the academic convention), the student structures his/her intellectual voice. In parallel, the tutor implements a strategic plan that supports the student in exploring and solving the personal challenges of his/her studies.
- Learning and practicing tools and methodologies for research, writing, rhetoric, critical analysis, and editing.
- Introduction to the history of ideas and theories through an analysis of canonical texts, and films.
